Cleopatra Costume Accessories are Important

If someone wanted to dress up in a Cleopatra costume for Halloween, they would want to look very beautiful indeed! In fact, Cleopatra was a regal and glamorous woman whose story has traveled throughout centuries and is still admired today.

If someone was to buy a Cleopatra Halloween costume, they would probably want it to be very fancy. And if you wanted to make your own Cleopatra costume you would need several Cleopatra Costume accessories to put it all together. So let’s discuss a few of those right now.

First, any proper Cleopatra costume would probably start with an elegant white fabric gown draped around a woman’s body, similar to the style of a Grecian goddess – just look at the sample Cleopatra dress above. It should run all the way to the floor, and may drag behind them slightly as they walked.

They would also probably wear some kind of sandal as their footwear, preferably somewhat fancy, perhaps something appearing to be made of gold or an expensive material.

Gladiator sandals that would wrap around their legs would probably be the best choice. A few Cleopatra Costume accessories like this are essential to making the costume seem real and authentic!

The person dressing up as Cleopatra would also probably wear some type of dark shaded wig, most likely black, and it would have to be about shoulder length. It would have to be straight and appear clean and new. The Cleopatra wig should also probably have some gold beading at the ends, and may have many small braids woven throughout.

The person dressing up in a Cleopatra costume may also want to wear some type of Cleopatra Costume accessories such as an Egyptian crown, which may appear gold and with additional beading to appear fancy and regal – fit for a queen.

The crown may also have some kind of serpent appearing on it. Cleopatra would also have to have some kind of belt or opulent gold bracelets draped around her arms.

The eye makeup that Cleopatra would have to use would have to be extremely showy and colorful. The person would have to use a great deal of black eye-liner, which would rim both eyes. Shadow would also have to be applied, with a bright color used to shade the eyes or even a gold shadow.

Cleopatra would also be expected to wear a very large head decoration, which should be very thick and drape across her shoulders, maybe with different color gems woven throughout it. If the person dressing up as Cleopatra was so inclined they could also use a type of bright colored shawl draped around their arms.

Whoever was to be wearing a Cleopatra Halloween costume would also have to have other pieces of Cleopatra Costume accessories – some beautiful snake earrings to accentuate the costume would be a good start. The Cleopatra costume could also be complimented with arm band jewelry that would circle the upper arm of the wearer. For an extra effect, someone may also want to carry a serpent staff, which would show the status of the carrier, making it clear that whoever is carrying it is indeed a queen.

The wearer of any Cleopatra costume must not forget the most important thing of all while wearing all those perfect Cleopatra Costume accessories, to have confidence to actually become the character of Cleopatra and have a truly regal Halloween all at the same time!
